Washing-machine labels in a Croatian home: hand over consumption data clearly
Appliance details can easily disappear among manuals and drawers during a home handover. The washing machine’s EU energy label is a compact starting point for a small, consistent appliance record.

Keep the units separate
Since 1 March 2021, the EU label for household washing machines has used an A-to-G scale. It displays energy consumption per 100 cycles, water consumption per cycle, programme duration and noise emissions.1
Record the reference programme
The washing-machine label values are based on the Eco 40–60 programme and also include rated capacity and spin-drying efficiency class. Photograph the complete label rather than only the efficiency-class letter.1
